EDUCATION

Education is a key component in the development of the communities we serve, therefore, we generate high-impact projects that benefit not only those who are actively involved, but those that are the beginning of a value chain multiplying the impact and scope of the projects.

We currently have two programs: Technology Classroom Social Action and Education Alliance for Nuevo Leon, both focused on generating immediate changes in order to improve students’ quality of life and open new development opportunities.
Our goal is to promote the students' interest in technology and provide support to develop a career within the IT industry through our program called "momentum".

Social Action Technology Classroom

It was founded in 2011 with the objective to promote education through training programs in information technology and foreign languages.
To date, this program has benefited 250 students in elementary, middle and high school, and has provided a total of 1,310 class hours, which have been taught by 25 Softtek associates and 4 college students that completed their practical training within this program.
The objective of the Technology Classroom is to strengthen the knowledge of students through computer courses, basic programming and foreign languages, providing tools and resources that contribute to their personal and professional development.
In "Aulatec" Softtek’ core values are put in practice, students are committed and self-determined, they learn that big changes happen with enthusiasm, perseverance and effort.

Citizen Educational Alliance for Nuevo León

Educational Alliance is a program that supports preschool, elementary and middle schools near Softtek, to identify needs and make improvements along with parents, students, teachers and volunteers through Softtek Solidaria Foundation.
Therefore, we can meet the different needs according to the priorities of the school, improving education and quality of life for students, strengthening our community.

In 2013 we participated, for the first time, in the program "Virtuous Circle" as part of Educational Alliance, in which we have invested more than $ 500,000.00 MXN in infrastructure and different social activities that have positively impacted the schools and community.
We also collaborate with parents groups to engage them in the development and improvement of the school and its programs, helping them to make better decisions about the future of their children.

HEALTH

For Solidaria Foundation is essential to work in preventing diseases as well as supporting institutions or associations that help sick people.

These actions are aimed at providing some services and supply materials through volunteering and benefactors.

The Foundation helps to promote and disseminate campaigns of other NGOs or organizations that seek to encourage and improve the quality of life of each sick person.

The Foundation, according to their capabilities, provides in-kind donations to support health institution needs.

HOUSING, FOOD AND CLOTHING

Within the basic social welfare factors that contribute to improving the quality of life are housing, food and clothing, safety and security in inclement weather.

Solidaria Foundation, according to their capabilities, provides in-kind donations to support institutions that require construction or renovation of its facilities as well as the donation of new or used clothing in good condition, and foodstuff.

Activities in this program are aimed at providing services and supply of materials.

ENVIRONMENT

Nowadays, it is important and necessary to work towards ecological balance and environmental protection. Solidaria Foundation encourages and promotes activities that maintain this balance in a responsible and organized way. Activities in this program include animal protection and support in case of natural disasters.

Projects are aimed at providing services in the following areas:

• Animal protection: support to animal shelters.
• Natural Disasters: coordination with organizations for the collection and delivery of commodities and materials after a natural disaster.
• Reforestation and cleaning up green spaces.
• Training and awareness about the importance and benefits of recycling

COEXISTENCE AND SOLIDARITY

Solidaria Foundation, according to their capabilities, provides in-kind donations to support institutions or groups seeking social integration and coexistence.

Our actions are aimed at providing event services and provision of materials, either directly with affected groups or through non-profit organizations: orphanages, prisons, rehabilitation centers, shelters, schools, etc.
